O.k. as you may struggle in compiling the overlay here is a dtbo which you'll have to copy into your overlay folder.
You've never stated which display you use - exact model/link to website etc. Mipi-dbi-driver requires a binary file. the overlay expects '4in.bin'.
As said, writing that file, how to compile it, where to place it has been stated by me in several posts. Others have been able to follow down that road.
