To me this is highly beta and definitely not something I would try again, even if included fully in the kernel. This is for RPI5 only. Sandisk might accept this parameter but have a higher fail rate at high temperature.
You should test writing back your IMG. It would show if it is a SD corruption problem.
You do not have a SD speed problem. You have a system or media corruption problem. Using the parameter will create more issues.
