I am reading 9 bit serial in Python using bb_serial_read_open() which uses the pigpio library. It looks like this is no longer available on the pi 5. I don't know if this is the place to post this question but does anybody know how I can go about upgrading to a pi 5 and still be able to do this? It's a real deal breaker for me.
