I was playing around with some HATs and had to reinstall a few drivers. When I rebooted the usual Raspberry splash image was changed into a default Debian splash. I can't see anything really broken and my Raspberry works just fine. But it seems strange that a driver reinstall should affect the base OS.
The only functional change I got was that sudo now requires a password, easy to remove but otherwise nothing so far.
Is this something that should be reported as a bug or just a feature![Smile :-)]()
