What do you need the kernel headers for?

To get my 2Mic-hat working:

Anyhow documentation was a bit sparse (needed the v6.6 branch instead of main), but I got it working now on a RPI3B with Bookworm 32, so that is a start.

Still a bit puzzled about the raspberrypi-kernel and raspberrypi-kernel-headers packages that are needed, but it's installing now and not hanging with a kernel error message.
