I am trying to breath new life into an Ex-Vista Acer Aspire Switch laptop (Intel Atom, 2GB RAM, 60GB SSD) for a young lad with very little money.
With a fresh download it runs (relatively) nicely from a USB memory stick but when I try to 'Update' it tells me there are about 125 updates due.
First attempt, on old 16GB USB: Filled the persistence partition and locked up.
Second attempt (32GB USB) : It seems to be working: htop shows lxplug-updater-install 100% on one core (which occasionally changes core)...
... but it is still running after 1day 14hrs 45mins!
If someone could please update at least the main items in the list of 125 and refresh the download image, I would be really pleased.![:D]( "Very Happy")
