I would hope there's a backup somewhere so all the posts can be restored. Or it's going to be a very empty place if there's a server crash or some hacker does get their hands on the database.
Does anyone have any recommendations for user-side backup of posts made to the forum, and how to best go about that ?
Obtaining raw posts in some cases will be useful but I imagine an awful lot won't be without context.
First obstacle appears to be that the server won't serve up the "User's Posts" pages when scraping
