Usually no need to send it to us (and I would be one of the people asking for it to be sent).
An official reseller should replace it under warranty (if it is still under warranty), then if necessary send the defective one back to us.
I'd try a few things first. Do you have a different power supply you can use - a 3A USB-C should be OK for testing.
Does the green LED flash in any sequence on power on?
I presume you get no output on the HDMI when no SD card is installed?
And the Pi 5 is only 35 days old. Some ideas to handle that reseller would be highly helpful guys.
