The PCIe cable is fine and has not been disconnected and everything works perfectly now without wifi.
I always wonder how integral signals will be when tracked near a WiFi antenna but I would have expected any issues to have been caught during beta testing given the embarrassing recall and lessons learned in PoE HAT testing -
The Pineberry NVMe hats are third party. It is not clear whether the Pimoroni or Geekworm hats also exhibit the same problems with that SSD and WiFi. Given how simple they are, I wonder why the official NVMe hat is not yet available.
I think that each of the HATs or BASEs has its own unique PCIe ribbon cable design. Potentially some shapes are more susceptible to WiFi interference.

I have not experienced any WiFi issues or read about any that were correlated with WiFi, with the Pimoroni. Though there was a report that someone with exactly the same NVMe SSD as I have was seeing many (20K/day) corrected errors at Gen 3 speed. I see the odd one (last time I checked I was up to 53 in ~7 days runtime).

Potentially the delay is in worldwide compliance testing, or complexities with packaging with there other offerings. The Pimoroni BASE does not even try to play nice with the official case, and being a BASE has no issues with the Active Cooler.
