Python • Re: Serial communication via GPIO Pins?

Is that "Raspberry Pi 2 W" a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W or a Pi2 with a USB WiFI dongle attached?
In general we can attach UART (serial) devices to the GPIO Pins provided we do not exceed 3.3V on the GPIO. The Pi can be configured to use its UART on the GPIO pins (e.g. GPIO 14 & 15), so it can communicate with device's UART using serial comms.
