I had not yet configured the config.txt file, such as setting the IMX overlays and camera auto detection, prior to turning on the camera. I just wanted to see what would happen. So, note to all, change the config.txt file for your cameras before you power it on.So not bricked, just badly configured. Bricking has a specific meaning, which is permanently unusable.If you re referring to the bricking of the CM4 via the connection of an IMX camera - the solution I used was to detach all cameras first. This allowed the device to boot. After this, review and correct (and perhaps replace) your config.txt (in boot). This solution worked for me.It's worth posting these issues with as much detail as possible to help identify really weird "1 in a million" issues. Although right now, it's hard to see how swapping a between cameras which are both know to work with CM4 would cause such a problem unless something caused a short e.g. damaged cable/connector
