Hi everyone.
I have a Raspberry Pi 4 (B) I am planning on using for a very light use web server. It has an M.2 SSD which it boots from, and a small cooling fan.
My issue is the use of USB power adapters at the wall (UK, if that matters). I have tried several power adapters and some of them do not work, although they all should be fine. I'll list the specs for the adapters below (including whether they work or not). My question is why? I'm currently running off a 5v/1a which I would think might hit a ceiling in terms of draw (what happens if it can't draw enough?). I suspect the Pi will draw no more than 10w at the extreme end (although I have never witnessed it draw that much yet).
I appreciate any advice here, I can't understand why 5v/3a chargers don't work. Many thanks.
Charger 1 (WORKS):
5v/2a & 10v/6.5a
Charger 2 (DOES NOT WORK):
5v/3a & 9v/3a &12v/2.5a &15v/2a & 20v/1.5a & 3.3 - 11v/2.7a
Charger 3 (DOES NOT WORK):
5v/3a & 9v/2.77a & 12v/2.08a
Charger 4 (WORKS):
5v/1a
