This isn't really RPi-specific, but I'm curious if anyone is aware of a C/CS mount macro lens (by which I mean, can achieve something approaching 1:1 image:object size) with some limiting resolution that isn't drastically lower than what the RPi HQ camera can record (12 Mpixel, 7.9mm image diagonal, 1.55 um pixel size) and doesn't cost vast sums?
Here's an example at $390: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/ ... _lens.html
For a mere $300 you can get something that makes no representation about resolution at all. https://amscope.com/products/c-h756td-c150
There are other C-mount macro lenses above $1k.
If you simply google "C-mount macro lens" you get things that either aren't even close to a true 1:1 macro, or appear designed for old-school 640x480 sort of resolution. I'm just curious, is that really the state of the market?
