In case OP has tried with an official PSU, uSD removed and powered up with no boot diagnostics screen shown then that Pi is toast most likely.
Make sure you've tried updating the bootloader https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... tml#imager
If that fails: RIP little Pi as something must have been damaged to result in this effect (as no error message gets output via LED).

What surprises me in addition is that OP has to press the power button to start the system. The Pi5 starts booting as soon as power is connected. It won't start if your PSU is weak (i.e. Slow rise time).
