I've got an RPi3B that runs weewx (weather station monitoring) as well as homebridge (Apple Homekit interface for smart devices that don't natively support Homekit).
I just picked up an RPi5 which I want to use to replace the RPI3. So far, weewx is up and running on it; homebridge is waiting, since I'm sure that installing it on the RPI5 will create a new hub which I'll have to move everything in my Home over to; I just don't feel like tackling a working system quite yet.
Once the RPI5 takes over the RPi3, I'm going to turn the RPI3 into a standalone (with a 7-10" display) weather display, using the weewx data. I've already identified a couple of possible displays, where the RPI3 can fit on the back of the display, with no cables (except for a single power cable for the display and the RPI). That should be kind of slick.
Compared to some of you, this is all minor stuff, but it is fun for me...
