I would think that vibration is likely to be the bigger issue then. Any water would only be splashes, I'd think, as one doesn't normally mow the grass in the rain as it tends to just rip it out of the ground!

Ours has to come out of its little house to discover if it's raining or not. The problem is then if it is very wet outside it slips around getting back into the dry.
