I don't really, but I know the folks who do.Any idea, as I know you work on it, when there will be an official version?
release-1.25.0 Milestone (nominal due date 2024-12-31) contains Add Pico 2 W port .... Releases can sometimes run a month or so late after the due date, depending on workload and funding.
Pico 2 W support requires use of the new Pico SDK, which seems a large amount of work. As the Pico 2 doesn't have an RTC and there are large numbers of functions that depend on an RTC being present, this could be a gnarly one.
There's also at least one regression that seems to affect the Pico W and Pico 2 W: lightsleep on Pico W regression. As it's not yet tagged in the milestone, it may not make it for a couple of months after. It's a weird bug. Since the RP2 chips of all types handle USB internally, power management also has to tell USB to play nicely. This doesn't affect some other chips, such as older ESP32.
NB: you might not see Raspberry Pi listed as one of MicroPython's sponsors. They have typically kept their sponsorship of MicroPython development private.
