I'm looking for a case that will passively (I'm allergic to fan noise ;-) cool my Pi5 enough to avoid CPU throttling, even when it's running flat-out for extended periods (e.g., because it's running BOINC full-tilt). The FLIRC cases have always worked for me with past Pi models, but sadly they don't suffice for the Pi5, so I'm now seeking an alternative.
Is there a purely passively cooled solution that works to keep your Pi5's temperature below ~ 80C even when you're running the CPU fully loaded indefinitely? Mine will be inside, where ambient temperatures should always be < 30C.
