HIgher clock speed takes more power and generates more heat. This can--to a degree--be mitigated by making the circuit elements smaller. But, generally speaking, smaller circuits elements "leak" more current.hi guys im wondering how rpi was made surley you could use 10ghz rf and a vco as a clock and have 10ghz processor i wanted to talk to someone about this ?
I suggest that you get a good textbook on the design and fabrication of integrated circuits. To be fair, you'll probably have to read books on solid state electronics (do you know how a transistor actually works?) and digital circuit design first.
