Hi

I've installed the light version of Raspberry Pi OS (0.4G image, no graphical UI) on my Raspberry Pi5. It in an argon one v3 nvme case.
I want to retrieve the current fan speed of the system.
I've read somewhere that you can get this value from /sys/devices/platform/cooling_fan/hwmon/hwmon2/fan1_input but I don't have this:

Code:

ls /sys/devices/platform 107c580000.hvs axi cam_dummy_reg 'Fixed MDIO bus.0' phy pwr_button rp1_vdd_3v3 serial8250 timer 3fd165c0.nvram cam0_reg chosen kgdboc power reg-dummy sd_io_1v8_reg snd-soc-dummy uevent arm-pmu cam1_reg cpufreq-dt leds psci regulatory.0 sd_vcc_reg soc wl_on_reg
Do I need to install some package to get this value ?
The Argon ONE V3 doesn't use the standard fan control. It uses it own - if you install their rats nest of scripts.

Take a look at this thread: viewtopic.php?t=275713
We now have an alternative that works, although still under development
