I have a Raspberry Pi 5 configured with a NVMe SSD running Raspberry Pi OS that I use as my primary boot drive. I am looking for a way to create an image backup of this SSD in case it becomes unusable and have the ability to do a standalone restore on the Pi. Is their an app that provides this type of functionality? Something like what Acronis does for Windows as an example?
The alternate method would be to be to unmount the NVMe SSD, connect it to another PC, and use a backup utility. I would prefer not to have to unmount the SSD from the Pi and remount the NVMe SSD back to the Pi.
