In the past I have used VNCServer and Google Authenticator to do 2FA when connecting remotely to my Raspberry Pi. I now have an RPi5 with Bookworm installed and the default is WayVNC.
Is there a way to do 2FA with WayVNC? I tried searching the documentation on WayVNC and couldn't find much on how to do this. I have set up ssh with 2FA using Google Authenticator so I know that is working. Alternately, I think I can go back to using the RealVNC Server by switching X11?
In my online searches-I've read a couple of articles that say I should use SSH tunnelling to connect to a VNC server remotely, but I'm not sure this is necessary anymore because of updates to VNC software.
I was hoping someone had some experience doing this and could offer some advice.
Thanks.
