I have not been able to reproduce the lock up problem at will since replacing the power adapter. It still freezes once in awhile without me touching the screen. Also I have found two other issues. my configuration is the 7" image with a Waveshare 7'"HDMI (H) screen, RPI 4 and sound output to the screen's audio output.
1. The touch is not very responsive. Sometime, I touch one button, only the button changes colour but the screen does not change. If I touch it again, then it acts as if I have pressed the first button and then the second button, the screen changes to what would be displayed from the second touch. I don't have the /dev/input/touchscreen.
2. I still cannot save the radio selected from the radio browser. I have applied the fixes. I selected a station to play and then touch the image of the station playing for several seconds. I go back to the genre selection and a search screen displays instead of a STAR on the bottom of the bar.
3. I have servera OTF fonts (NotoSerifTC-Regular.otf) using the upload font function in the configuration screen. I can see they are in the font directory. However, it is listed when I browse the font configuration using the web UI. It looks almost as if the otf font is not supported.
FiraSansCondensed-Regular.ttf NotoSerifTC-ExtraLight.otf
FiraSansExtraCondensed-Regular.ttf NotoSerifTC-Light.otf
FiraSans.ttf NotoSerifTC-Medium.otf
license.txt NotoSerifTC-Regular.otf
NotoSerifTC-Black.otf NotoSerifTC-SemiBold.otf
NotoSerifTC-Bold.otf
If I want to install the Peppy software from scratch. should I use a Bookworm lite or Bookworm 32-bit desktop image?
I have orders a 5" screen, the same one you used to create the disk image. I hope this works better.
