Last time I wrote any COBOL was 1986/87.

I was up to my elbows in Lotus-123, Dataease & COBOL code in 1986/87

Blimey, DataEase is a blast from the past. Cannot remember if I ever did anything with it though.

I did quite a bit of DataEase programming from 1984 to 1989 mostly in insurance (actuaries & underwriters) & banking (trading floor & supporting depts) & the occasional freelance accounting/bookkeeping gig. Personally I prefered SensibleSolution but you use what the customer or your bosses want
