Hi guys,
I’m kinda new to rpi. I own a raspberry pi 5 with Ubuntu 23 installed since that’s the only supported version for now. I’m struggling with some things since this version is not LTS.
Since 24 is coming out soon (in April as far as I know) I was wondering how long it will take from the Ubuntu release until it will be possible to install it (be supported) by raspberry pi 5.
Raspberry Pi, who provide these forums, have an OS which supports all their hardware. RasPiOS. They don't provide or support Ubuntu.
If using your chosen alternative is important to you, maybe ask for advice from a Canonical/Ubuntu Developer - they are the people who develop and distribute your chosen Operating System. Perhaps they will support it too?
https://ubuntuforums.org/ and https://askubuntu.com/ might be good places to ask about things like this.
