Ah, that was just a typo when I was pasting the code. I had been changing TX and RX back and forth as I wasn't sure which I should be using and copied the code in an inconsistent state. I fixed the error in the above post to match the running test code.I'm not familiar with Micropython, but there seems an obvious error in the snippet you posted:
It just sits there if I use DREQ_PIO0_TX0 or DREQ_PIO0_RX for treq_sel. If I leave out treq_sel it runs too fast at full speed.
I wonder if I need the PIO to initiate a transfer request? I'd assume pull() would do that if that was the case.
