I might take a video, if you are interested.
Show a video of KMS booting. Make sure you only have the lines related to dpi_generic active and not the mess that you have atm (which will for sure delay your boot time because of all the useless stuff inside)

As said: you will not see a rainbow screen when using KMS+DPI as the firmware knows nothing about the connected display. Rainbow screen is not (!) the splash screen!
What is a X-starting screen? Most likely you mean splash screen (white square with Raspberry logo and info on the OS build date etc).
