General discussion • Re: STICKY: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

What size screen do you have - 4K?

Screen resolution can be adjusted in the same way as Raspios-lite:
  • If you are using KMS on the Pi5, then you can add an option to cmdline.txt, such as: `video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080@60D`
  • If you are not using KMS, use the `hdmi_group` and hdmi_mode` settings in config.txt
Keys `1` and `2` can be used to switch between Preferred and Safe Mode HDMI resolutions.
You can modify PINN's configuration to set wallpaper_resize to make the background fill the whole screen.
The main window is scaled to fit within the screen, but is restricted to a maximum size of 800x600. You can resize it as you want by dragging the borders, but this positioning is only temporary.
Fontsize can also be adjusted by pressing the +/- keys, but again this is only temporary.
There are currently some issues with very tiny fonts on some monitors using KMS on the Pi5, but this cause has been identified and will be fixed shortly.
