Are you sure it's idle and not doing something in the background? Try checking top to see active tasks and uptime to display the load averageRecently dug up my Pi 4, and I've noticed that it's been idling at around 70c, and it's getting so warm it's hard to even touch it at times
I'm not overclocking or overvolting it, so it's definitely not that. And I do have some heatsinks installed, but it's fully passively cooled otherwise (and it's not in a case or anything)
Does anyone have an idea what it might be?
Is the load average nearly zero?
