Raspberry Pi OS • Multiple different linux-image-* packages

I recently upgraded my Pi B+ (first generation) that is running my Pi-Hole system to Bookworm, and when updating all the packages, I noticed that there appears to be multiple different sets of the linux-headers-rpi-* and linux-image-rpi-* packages, ending in -v6, -v7, -v7l, and -v8. These end up taking a very long time to update as new vmlinuz and initramfs images have to be generated for each of them, and the first gen Pi is a bit lacking in CPU performance compared to newer models.

I'm guessing these are for the different Raspberry Pi boards that uses different versions of the ARM architecture (armv6 armv7, armv7l, armv8, etc)? If so, can I safely uninstall the ones that are not necessary for my Raspberry Pi (v7, v7l, v8 as I believe the first generation pi is armv6) so that future updates do not or are they still necessary for all boards?
