You could arrange permissions on a Linux filesystem so that you the creator of the file has full control, while other users only have read permission. Is there a way to set a text file to have an unchangeable name from save?
But as soon as the other users copies the text file to somewhere they have full control, then they can rename the file.
And if other users were to copy the text file to e.g. a network drive or USB stick, then all bets are off.
