but you just said "Slackware"? You made my day.Installing built binaries to your system is pretty common. I have many locally compiled programs in /usr/local/bin such as the custom OpenOCD required for RP2350, and the custom arm-none-eabi-gdb GDB I built for Slackware that points to ARM target (since Slackware has no package).
