So, I've just tried this on Firefox 127.0 aarch64 on macOS, and I can't reproduce an issue. When I select the 'Paste to remote' button in the Connect window, I see a _second_ browser-drawn 'Paste' button appear, and selecting that button performs the paste as expected.

Do you also see the smaller 'Paste' button appear?
